I have been having the hardest time deciding which bridesmaid dresses to put my best girls in for Tony and my wedding day. (Not to mention the hardest time choosing a wedding dress. More on that later.) I can’t find any that don’t look too “bridesmaidsy,” and while some brides love that look and it’s a part of their wedding fantasy, it’s just not for me.

But, I have found the cutest bridesmaid gift that honors the “matching” tradition in a fun alternative way! Ella Winston was kind enough to send me a custom, handmade, personalized clutch in a few of the colors we’re incorporating into our wedding – cream, gold and navy. It has Tony and my names embroidered on the inside, along with our wedding date, so anytime I carry it at a special occasion, I’ll be reminded of my most special day of all.

As you can see with mine, it’s the sweetest gift for a bride, too; it also comes in lace and satin in various shades of white. I opted for a sleek gold clasp, but there are several other cute options to personalize there, too.

Everyone seems to be doing matching robes for the “getting ready” photos these days, in addition to the matching gowns, so if you’re into the cohesive look, this is a chic way to round that out. And if you’re going for mismatched bridesmaid dresses, these bags pull the look together without making all your best friends wear the same dress to your party. I love the idea of having my bridesmaid’s name embroidered on the inside, with her birthday or even the day I met her. (Added bonus: Your girls can carry Tic Tacs, fashion tape and even an airplane-size bottle of tequila for you on your Big Day.) Here they are in our wedding colors:
