I had a mini panic attack last night around 1am when I realized Father’s Day is this weekend, and I have done jack diddly for my sweet dad. (“Jack diddly” is my dad’s term for doing absolutely nothing, so I feel it’s use is apropos.) I’ve gone into a feral state of “wedding mode,” swapping showers and conversation for obsessive flower girl dress researching (necessary after J.Crew screwed us over) and second-guessing my glassware choices (probably not the best use of my time). And my dad has willingly crawled down that rabbit hole with me; his generous involvement in the planning of the wedding is a blog in and of itself, but let’s just say this good ol’ Texan boy is now well versed in the various strains of peonies. My dad is the best. And I almost forgot to send him a Father’s Day card.

Lucky for me, Postable exists. It’s super easy to create an account (details on that and why I love them here), and they have an enormous selection of cards available online, most of which less than what you would find at CVS or a stationary store. You pick the card, type in your note (they have a huge selection of fonts, so you can find one that looks like your handwriting, or what you wish your handwriting looks like), fill in the address, and Postable prints and mails it for you. I sent one to my dad last night, and the total cost was $3.49. And I didn’t even have to get out of the pajamas I had spent the day in because I was too busy planning my wedding.

Their Father’s Day cards range from traditional, to funny, to heartfelt, to personal – many give you the option to upload a photo onto the cover art. And you can do it all from the comfort of your office or home, so you don’t have to rush to a stationary store and then the post office to get a card out on time. That is a happy father’s day gift for you and your dad!

{You could even send one to your husband, if your baby isn’t capable of using the internet yet}
