NKLA

{cuddling Big Mike at the NKLA adoption fair this weekend}

This morning, I scheduled Tony and my first double date for 2016. It’s such a cliche, but it’s wild how fast this year has flown by (probably because I spent over half of it in a feral wedding planning vortex.) This has been a week of reflection, climbing back on the Hollywood horse, and actively trying to remind myself every day that if I’m going to remain committed to chasing a career in this insane industry, I might as well try to remain hopeful and happy, too. It’s a process, and some days I’m better than others. Tony and I had a pitch that I’m excited about (and not just because it would mean getting paid to work with my husband), and with the window closing on 2015, I’m trying to get as much done as I can on the projects I hope will actually come to life in the Year of the Monkey. (Side note – Add to 2016 goals: Get an actual monkey.) So, I’m going to go write some things other than this blog that maybe one day I’ll be able to share on the blog! (And also, I need to unpack all the crap I ordered online at 2am the other night before Tony gets home and finds out what I’ve done). While I do that, here is some internet procrastination candy… #TGIT!
