Sorry this gratitude list is coming in so late, I had an audition in Santa Monica that turned into a day-long road trip! (For real. 11 miles in Los Angeles is like visiting a different state. Man, L.A. traffic jokes are so original, right?!) (Also, I didn’t write it this morning because I overslept, and prioritized showering and eating year-old wedding cake that we defrosted a week ago. I hope I don’t die.) This week, I am grateful that my foot is finally feeling better after spraining my ankle last Saturday, and also that it’s given me an excuse to spend most of my time in bed, eating. I’m also grateful that while I was drunk the other night, my friend convinced me to sign up for a half-marathon in November, which will give me an excuse to exercise again once my foot doesn’t look like a rotting eggplant. (Hope you enjoyed that visual!) I haven’t ever run more than 7 miles, so we’ll see how that goes. Maybe I’ll wear a diaper like ultra-marathoners! This weekend, I’m looking forward to more eating in bed and some low-key hangs with friends. HAPPY FRIDAY! Here are the other things making me happy right now:
