gratitude list

HI! It’s Monday, but I’m doing a gratitude list anyway because I haven’t checked in for a while and miss you guys. Sorry I ghosted you like a douche from Tinder. I wrote on this blog I love very much, and am very proud of, week-daily for the past few years but as I wrote about recently, am trying to get back on the wild Hollywood horse and give more time to the other things I love: Screenwriting and acting. I signed with a new manager, started writing a TV pilot with Tony and working on a feature script that I’m so excited about. I took some time away from both of those things for a hot minute for several reasons – I was getting married, selling and buying a new house and, honestly, had been told no so many times that I had to lick my wounds and go on a much more boring/cheap version of Eat Pray Love (just in L.A., mostly from taco place to pasta place to cake place back to taco place, and now (sadly, but necessarily) to SoulCycle) to get my groove back. I used to work on a script every day, and after doing that for years, I got scared and wrote a blog every day instead. Now, I’m forcing myself to work on a script every day again, and audition for casting directors as often as they’ll let me, and audition for my dogs on the days they don’t. I’ll still be writing here, but it won’t be week-daily anymore (at least until I have another nervous breakdown.) If you want to keep in touch, which I would love very much, you can subscribe to the blog so you’ll know when some new rant or outfit/beauty product I spent too much money on is up. Or you can follow my on Instagram, which would be great because if you get lots of followers you get lots of jobs in this insane and wonderful town.

Anyway, here is what I’ve been up to since I disappeared without a goodbye – all things that have brought a lot of joy to my life, that I am very, very grateful for.

Halloween coming. Here I am, feeling the most beautiful I’ve ever felt in the costume my grandmother made me to look like Rose from Titanic. Positively DYING over this sweet, sweet pic of my baby bro as a Beanie Baby.

My childhood/current/forever bestie Julia spending a weekend at our place with her kiddos. We learned that our dog Tippi loves babies, Tony reallyreallyreally wants to be a dad, and I am capable of keeping children alive. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, and we had so much fun doing Pinterest projects, playing and not leaving the house. Heaven.

You sweet sweet lady. I was back, and I’m sorry I disappeared again! Tony and I are writing a TV script and I started writing a book, too. I will try to get back on some sort of schedule posting blogs at least a few times a month. I am so grateful for the support, it means the world to me that people want to read my writing. THANK YOU.
