{Aritzia dress // Stuart Weitzman sandals, currently on sale and SO comfortable}
One of the major highlights of trophy wifing it up in Vancouver while Tony was shooting a movie there for the past few weeks was, without a doubt, the day I convinced him to accompany me to the Aritzia warehouse sale. Tony’s never been to one, so he had no idea what he was in for. I went to one for Monique Lhuillier wedding gowns last year and wrote about it for Hello Giggles, so I knew exactly what we were in for. It was held at a nearby convention center, and I knew something was up when I went for my daily jog along the water one Friday and noticed dozens and dozens of girls toting even more dozens of shopping bags. I googled it and decided that was exactly how Tony should spend one of his days off… Helping me fight off girls for cheap pants and guarding my piles so I could hunt down more finds to add to them.
It was everything I dreamed of and more! Sadly, I didn’t take a picture of Tony surrounded by everything I made him hold while I trolled the aisles, or the guard (and only other male in the room) he made friends with after getting in trouble for trying to hang some of my crap on the security tape. Or the epic, never-ending lines. Or me attempting to try on a dress over my outfit, and Tony and I struggling over it for a solid 5 minutes before a hip young collegiate sadly informed me it was, in fact, a romper. Or the girls flat out stripping down and trying stuff on in the middle of the store, so they didn’t have to waste precious shopping time waiting in the long line for the changing room (so the day wasn’t a total wash, right Tony?) Or Tony treating me to my favorite outfits!
But, I did convince/force Tony to take some photos of me in one of the dresses I bought, this super cute little black slip dress! I’ve been on the hunt for one for a while now, and this one is as comfortable as it is pretty, and can go with casual shoes for day or dressed up for night. Here I am, pre-Happy Hour binge at our hotel!
{NO MORE PICTURES, PLEASE}
