{Tippi, Maggie + Lucy}
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, from the Cavalero family to you! Hope you had a more productive morning than I did, wrestling my dogs into costumes and forcing them to endure a fashion shoot… Today’s post is a photo essay on how THAT went. Because nothing says the holidays like bringing stress and anxiety to your loved ones (canine family members included). This year, Tippi is going as a sparkly pink butterfly, Maggie is an ice cream sundae and, fierce as ever in her annual mini-my annual Halloween get-up, Lucy is rocking her Madonna costume. They went trick-or-treating in our living room and I’ll be honest, it was mostly me tricking them into thinking they’d eventually get that treat I was dangling if they all sat and looked at me at the same time. Have a safe and spooky weekend packed with too much candy (and wine and pizza and Christmas music on Sunday, if you’re me.) X A
{I also forced my dad to be my editorial assistant. I don’t know who enjoyed it more, him or the girls.}
I was super concerned that Maggie’s banana hat might be confused for a similarly-designed hat of a certain evil, racist organization, so she got a solo shoot to make sure you know it is a BANANA.
*SIDE NOTE: I am aware I just shared more photos of my dogs in costumes than my friend did of her child dressed up as the firetruck she built from scratch over the span of two all-nighters. My future on the show Hoarders: Animal Edition is growing brighter and brighter every day.
