Tony is performing in the current Main Company show at Groundlings on Fridays and Saturdays, so we’re sneaking weeknight date nights. Last night, we went to the iPic Theater, where you lounge in a recliner under a blanket, drink wine and cocktails, and stuff your face with popcorn and turkey burgers and pizza and buffalo chicken wraps. We saw Love the Coopers, which was a real bummer despite an amazing cast – Tony said it should have been called Love the Poopers. I agree with him, and Entertainment Weekly’s review. A goddess like Diane Keaton deserves much better (and so do the rest of the ladies, for that matter. I guessed it was written by an older man, and I was right.) But the experience of watching it was HEAVEN and I don’t know how I’m ever going to watch a movie in a regular chair without booze again.

I booked a small part in a movie shooting in Texas next week!!!!!!!!!! It’s set in the ’90’s punk scene and is called An American in Texas. I’M SO EXCITED.

For breakfast (almost) every day, I made a smoothie with the following ingredients: Spirulina powder. Ice. Frozen mixed berries. 1 apple. Almond butter. Collagen powder. Kale. Spinach. Coconut milk. Soft tofu. It was really, truly, honest to God disgusting, and with each sip, I hated it more. But, with each sip, I also felt like I was adding 12 years to my life. AM I HOLLYWOOD SKINNY YET?

The powers that be announced School of Rock is finally coming in “early 2016!” I am so proud of Tony and this awesome show. We loved everyone who worked on it with him, both in front of the camera, behind it, and in the offices on the Paramount and Nickelodeon lots who made it happen. We’re sososososo thrilled you’ll get to see it soon!

Tony and I went to the NKLA adoption fair last weekend and (fingers crossed I think I hope) may have helped find homes for a few dogs, including sweet sweet Danica!

Tony reads my blogs every day. He subscribed to support me, and always tells me what he likes about them. I never have to bring it up, prompt him or ask him what he thought, he always beats me to it. And no matter what happens with my career, I feel loved, supported and happy that I made him laugh.

Tony and I took the dogs on a few late-night walks this week. It was quiet and chilly, and actually felt like fall. Because (for once) dozens of cars weren’t whizzing by us, we pretended we live in a small town (even though this view we like to walk to suggests otherwise).

I did most of my writing in my backyard this week. #officewithaview

I went to my friend Kim‘s new house to work on our web series. We wrote in her movie theater and I felt like a queen. I’ll take a pic next time, I was too busy LIVING IN THE MOMENT (but you can see a video of Tony riding her hoverboard here).
