{Remembering the time we walked the orange carpet with Scott Stapp and his family brought me a whole lot of joy this AM}
Not to sound like a crotchety old woman but guys, what happened to El Nino? Is it still coming? Because we had to turn on our air conditioning last night, and I’m worried it was all a lie. And I am not ready for Shorts/Sweaty Season. Ok, rant over. This week, I am most grateful to be home with my husband and dogs, settling back into our routine after the wild, wonderful and overall insane few weeks of Tony’s show premiering. It was exciting, emotional and a learning curve for both of us; I, for example, learned I would make a terrible politician’s wife. This weekend, I’m looking forward to curling up with a book and some allergy meds in the backyard up on our deck and lying comatose for a few days straight. I’m also excited to get mani pedis to celebrate a friend’s birthday, catch up on The Americans and spend Easter with my family. Here’s what I’m grateful for right now:
{Easter egg project at CHLA}
{Flowers from Tony}
{Birthday flowers from Tony’s mom}
{The Planet Hollywood shirt, of the infamous Ess-a-Bagel nightmare}
{Namesake treats + Easter candy}
{My favorite latte, that my friend dropped off as a sweet surprise}
{Food map Tony made, of all the places people told us to eat at in NYC}
{And, the back}
{Beautiful homemade birthday card featuring a perfect portrait of our pups from CHLA}
{House guest Scarlett in a post-dinner coma. This is what I look like after I eat, too.}
And, all the pics I forgot to share from the Kids Choice Awards!
{Violet Grey makeover pre-show}
{Bathroom counter goals}
{The store is decorated with Edith Head’s original sketches. It is my new happy place.}
{One of the few photos we actually got together, the day was so crazy.}
{Luckily, we also got this one}
{My FAVORITE orange carpet arm candy}
{Happy husband}
{Happy wife. FYI, that corn dog is full of CHEESE, not hot dog. I have the appetite and taste of a 4-year-old. I was in heaven.}
{My beautiful bestie/date Barbara and I, lost and trying to figure out how to get access to the orange carpet before Tony found us}
{Sugar high}
{Table decor}
{The closest I will ever come to smelling Heidi Klum’s hair}
{Confetti sky}
Happy weekend!
