{I snuck onto the red carpet for a hot sec to keep the fans guessing as to whether I am Tony’s sister or wife}
This week has felt like an insane fever dream. We’ve been living like we’re in college – I had dinner last night at 11:45pm for the second time this week. We’ve also been living like new parents, waking up every 2 hours because of Tony’s bronchitis cough, or my dead panic over the direction of my life (or to check in at 5:30am for jury duty because I forgot). (I am fully aware that if you are a new parent, you both hate me for saying that and are laughing hysterically at how very much I underestimate the lack of sleep that comes with new parenthood). This weekend, I’m looking forward to sleeping like a normal childless human, eating green things and generally behaving like the boring 30-year-old I am. I have some super exciting news to share on the blog next week, so stay tuned! In the meantime, here is what I am grateful for right now…
Getting to attend the premiere of a movie Tony’s in with Matthew Morrison, Laura Bell Bundy, Sarah Chalke, Jane Lynch and a bunch of other wonderful, hilarious folks called After the Reality at the Newport Beach Film Festival.
Ghost legs + a greasy bucket of “lunch.”
And this splashy, fancy marquee sign!
Maggie‘s favorite spot to chill while I eat.
Having my godmother in town for a visit. She’s the one in yellow pants. She can do the splits and has the best laugh of anyone ever, and I wish we were blood-related so I could get in on those good genes. Here we are, visiting Sick Boy at work.
The hubs’ trailer decorations are back up! His favorite is that cheesy “workout” headshot I made the mistake of agreeing to. (Hasn’t booked me any work yet. Wonder why.)
Seeing this sign, which still gives me the happy chills. I am so proud of my man. (Also, visiting him on set gave me an excuse to shower and put real clothes on.)
Tony’s view every day, and one of my favorite reminders that dreams do come true!
Lanterns at The Larchmont, a restaurant I tried for the first time this week and immediately became obsessed with.
Maggie’s other favorite spot, a small hole she dug in the fence that she likes to wedge herself into and stare at me while I write.
HAPPY WEEKEND! What are you grateful for right now?
