{Outside our house last Saturday, prob the last time I washed my hair.}
I woke up thinking it was Monday. It’s been that kind of week. (Also, maybe I have Alzheimer’s.) Tony and I are making some big life changes that I can’t wait to share once I know they’re for real for real actually real, so our weekend will be spent lying low and working around the house. Our one big adventure will be attending a party at a beach house that has been featured in coffee table books, and I can’t wait to eat too many tacos and pretend I live there. I’m taking Monday off to try to get my sh*t together, and I hope you have a relaxing, rejuvenating three days full of joy, party food and less Xanax than me! To everyone who has served and sacrificed for our country, thank you thank you thank you. HAPPY LONG WEEKEND! Here’s what I’m grateful for right now…
Our deck at night.
The prettiest booze bottle!
Getting my housewife on with some homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Lake Hollywood.
Great burger recipes (including turkey and veggie options!!) for your Memorial Day bbq’s.
My neighbor’s car.
This video, because it makes Tony cry-laugh, and watching Tony cry-laugh is the happiest thing to watch.
Pink flamingos outside of Tony’s trailer.
Dam Good Soap in Little Black Dress (c/o). It smells amazing and looks so pretty in the tub, I’ve given several as gifts.
A sighting of what has to be the douchiest car in all of L.A.
2/3 of my children.
Poorly lit, insanely delicious affogato at a dinner celebrating our friends’ engagement at Osteria La Buca.
Memorial Day weekend sales!!!! Nordstrom is having a biggie, and J.Crew is offering 30% off with the code WEEKEND.
Our photo wall, which has got me feeling all kinds of nostalgic.
