Wrap dresses are my current bliss because you can loosen them as you eat and no one is the wiser. Tony and I were invited to the annual neighborhood picnic in our new hood this weekend and the invite mentioned “a taco truck” and “donuts,” which meant I was there to party and didn’t need a cinched waistline interrupting my food flow. It’s like the chic version of eating pants. My hope is that the plunging neckline distracts from the any of the “eating pants” references. Plus, the ruffled sleeves and grey stripes are super summery and fun, so the dress (and neckline) work for daytime. Remember how much fun it was as a kid when you got to climb on a fire truck at small town parades? Well, I will tell you it is even MORE fun as an adult to humiliate your husband (and any passersby embarrassed for you) by making him photograph you in front of one!
