This week, I am most grateful that WE FINALLY GOT A MATTRESS for the new house!!!!!! (We’d been sleeping on a queen size blow up mattress for nearly 3 weeks with 3 dogs. Tony and I usually woke up half on the floor, with the dogs comfortably sprawled out in between us.) Here are the other things I am grateful for this week:
Taking prom photos with our friend Pegge before dinner at SmokeHouse. (Fun fact: My first job in L.A. was working as an intern for George Clooney’s company Smokehouse!)
This view in our front yard. I remember driving down Highland in Hancock Park (a super fancy street for you non-Angelenos), in awe of the palm tree-lined street. And now we have them at our house!
Deciding on wallpaper to bring those palm trees inside too, we love them so much.
Burgers with friends.
Picking out the prettiest new faucets.
Finally finding Tony’s wedding ring after an hour-long search.
Hosting a girl’s night on the patio. We had salads, wine, cupcakes and gossip for dinner because we are BASIC BITCHES & LOVE IT.
Eric Andre at the Republican National Convention:
ALL THE MARBLE.
My cutie mom and dad celebrating his birthday in Tahoe.
That this community exists.
Late night tacos.
Having the time of my life dreaming about decorating our new place.
Taking in the sunset view on a drive home from our old place in Laurel Canyon.
HAPPY WEEKEND! What are your plans?
