{SCHOOL OF ROCK Season 2 premieres TOMORROW!}
My parents were in town for a brief visit this week before continuing their spree of international jetsetting, and they left for Japan this morning. Tony booked a movie shooting on the other side of the country for almost a month, and leaves this weekend. SO, it will be me and five dogs (our 3 + my parents’ 2), our alarm system, a loaner sofa, and a TV I don’t know how to work. If it sounds like I am complaining, I am NOT… That actually sounds like an ideal set-up (aside from already being homesick for my husband and parents, and also not understanding how to use basic technology). I was a hermit homebody already, but love our new home so much that now it takes a lot to get me to leave. Anytime someone wants to hang out, I say “Sure! But you have to come over!” I’m excited to keep plugging away at our remodel, making this house truly a home, reading as much of the pile of books on my bedside table as I can, and making people feel shame for my animal hoarding mental illness as I attempt to walk all five untrained dogs solo. If you see me clutching five leashes in one hand and 10 lbs of poop in the other, just cross the street shamefully and refuse to make eye contact. I will understand. HAPPY FRIDAY! Have the best weekend! Here’s what I’m grateful for right now…
School of Rock Season 2 PREMIERES TOMORROW!!!!! Set your DVR’s. Watch it live. Tell everyone you know to do the same. I am very proud of my husband, and everyone who works so hard on this show.
The new walls in our guest room. This is where I’m going to force all my friends to sleep, as they rotate babysitting me while Tony is gone.
Baby Maggie breaking in the new loaner sofa.
THIS. I used to go across the street from my high school to eat lunch at my dad’s office. A lot.
The golf course across from my parents’ house put up a Hollywood sign for a reason unknown to me. But I love it. (NO PARKING by it, though.)
Pink & gold dresser, pink door… CAN YOU TELL THIS IS MY CLOSET? (Actively trying to turn Tony off of putting his crap in MY room.)
The Dead Pilots Society podcast is HERE. (Read more about what the Dead Pilots Society is HERE.) Tony’s performed in one, and the concept is brilliant.
Grocery store vibes.
My parents’ dog Rigel camouflaging with our floor.
