{My dad’s parents, GrandBettye and GrandaddyJoe, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary} I think the only secret people are more interested in than “the fountain of youth” is the secret to a lasting, loving, fulfilling relationship. Tony and I take our... View Article
Sweet @TonyCavalero bought me this dress, and then took me out to dinner in it. I am the luckiest. We are the grossest. #dontcare #love #bluevelvet #bouchon #spoiled (at www.altar-ed.com)View Article
My mom decided to take crazy to a whole new level when Tony proposed last December. And it wasn’t an “in the moment, I got over-excited” type of thing. She had been plotting a slightly different version of the above photo shoot since Tony had asked for her and my dad’s permission to propose months earlier.View Article
I’ve been working feverishly to finish our wedding website before mailing out our Save the Dates, and harassing Tony to write some stuff for it too, so it’s not just the Annie Bridezilla Show. My mom and I have been steamrolling most of the wedding-related decisions with our (very different) visions of how Tony and my Big Day should go down. (That’s a blog for another time. If I dare.) My dad quietly stepped in and asked Tony if there was anything truly important to him. Aside from his deep desire to rappel down a wall to the ceremony Navy SEAL-style, Tony’s other biggest wish was to have live music. Wang Chung, specifically. (Which, unfortunately, was not cost-effective, nor realistic.)View Article
