Happy Monday, guys! Today I'm sharing a post from my dear friend Jon DeWalt, who also happens to be a brilliant comedian and writer for NBC's "Undateable" (I think if you asked him what he does, though, he would probably say "Be a friend to Annie" first, which is why I ranked his titles in this order.) This piece originally appeared on his blog several months ago, but I wanted to share it as a follow-up to his wife and writing partner Allison Bosma's hilarious post on her audition from hell that appeared on Heels in the Hills last week. Tomorrow, Runyon Canyon closes for 4 months. If you live outside of L.A., that means nothing to you. If you live in L.A., it means EVERYTHING. I am SO. EXCITED. to share this guest blog from my friend Allison Bosma, writer for NBC's UNDATEABLE and one of the funniest humans I've ever met. Like me, she moved to Los Angeles with the pipe dream of becoming a HOLLYWOOD STAAAAAR! This is her hilarious, horrifying tale of the audition that killed her dreams... (Good thing, too, because now the world gets the gift of her writing. Especially me. She gets paid a lot of hot, steaming cash for putting words on paper and she wrote this magic pro bono. THANK YOU, ALLISON.)View Article
YOU GUYS. Are you watching SuperMansion on Crackle? You do know it's starring Bryan Cranston, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Green and Jillian Bell, right? And also my friends Heidi Gardner and Zeb Wells (who co-created it)? And Zeb and his co-creator Matthew Senreich are the guys who bring you Robot Chicken? Well, if that's not enough, my very own husband Tony Cavalero is guest starring on the latest episode as JOHNNY RABDO!View Article
