The hubs and I landed in NYC this AM after a red eye flight and a whirlwind weekend with the Kids' Choice Awards and the "School of Rock" premiere. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who watched, spread the news about the show and called and texted - I haven't seen Tony so emotional since our wedding, and we're both so grateful for all the love and support you've shown him. We're in the city for the next few days for Tony to promote the show and to celebrate my 30th birthday on St. Patrick's Day. And as an early birthday gift, Tony wrote this guest blog for me. I'm stupid crazy lucky, I know...View Article

As of today, I have officially been Mrs. Cavalero for six months! I can't believe it's been half a year since we said "I do." I feel like we've been married forever, and I also feel like it was just yesterday that I was surrounded by my favorite people in my favorite place, celebrating my life with my favorite person. I wish I could re-live that entire week in Tahoe over and over and over. In these first six months, I've learned a lot. Namely: I love Tony more every day. I am not ready for kids yet (Tony is). I am ready for more dogs (Tony is not). And bad days are better - and good days the best - because I have a teammate to share them with. Five months ago, I wrote my thoughts on our first month of marriage. Today, I'm sharing a special guest blog with my husband Tony's thoughts on marriage, now that we've reached the half-way mark to our first anniversary...View Article
Tony and his brother are currently road-tripping across the country, so Tony and I were apart for our usual "The Bachelor"-binge watching date night. Tony SAID he and Nick watched it from their hotel room in New Mexico for my sake, but I think secretly he is just as addicted as I am. Here are a few of the texts I received from him throughout the show while they noshed on Taco Bell and shouted at the TV...View Article
YOU GUYS. Are you watching SuperMansion on Crackle? You do know it's starring Bryan Cranston, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Green and Jillian Bell, right? And also my friends Heidi Gardner and Zeb Wells (who co-created it)? And Zeb and his co-creator Matthew Senreich are the guys who bring you Robot Chicken? Well, if that's not enough, my very own husband Tony Cavalero is guest starring on the latest episode as JOHNNY RABDO!View Article
Yesterday was Tony's birthday, and I asked him to write a guest blog to celebrate it. Instead of writing something self indulgent like I usually do, he tried to think of a way to use his birthday to help other people, which is totally in character for him and one of the many reasons I married him. Here's some advice from Tony on how to be happy on the other 364 days a year that aren't your happy birthday...View Article
Tony and I drove home from my parents' house late last night, and we are still delirious. We went straight from Vancouver to northern California for one of my childhood best friends' wedding, and had so much fun we didn't want to leave... Which resulted in us not rolling up to our driveway until the middle of the night. We've been gone for almost 2 months, and married for 6 weeks, but for the first time, we're arriving home as newlyweds... Any advice on how to beat the bridal blues and savor the newlywed phase?View Article
I celebrated Labor Day by forcing my loving and supportive husband to labor over taking pictures of me for the blog. It was one of his few days off, and Vancouver is just too beautiful a city to not vogue all over it. I don't believe in fashion rules mostly because I can't remember them, and also because I'm OCD and want to continue wearing something I love even 1) when it is no longer "in fashion" or 2) if I've already worn it several times this week. SO WHAT. So, a day after Labor Day, I'm boldly going where no proper lady would go and WEARING WHITE. Lacy, fringe-y mini dress white.View Article
