{ These outfit choices pretty much sum up our relationship }

Tony and I are giving our current home a little make-over prior to finding a new family to love it as much as we do. So, over the past few days, it’s been getting its “lipstick” painted on (otherwise known as re-finishing our floors.) Because this nightmare process takes days, we are currently living in one room with our 3 dogs. Tony gets to go to work, so for roughly 10-12 hours a day, it’s been me and the dogs. I think I speak dog now. When I run out of the crackers, Kind bars and Costco-size jar of peanut butter I hoarded into our make-shift bunker, I guess I will have to eat dog food. I’ve spent a lot of hours actively regretting that I forgot to hoard wine. If The Walking Dead becomes reality, I will be prepared (unless zombies fit through dog doors.) This weekend, I am most looking forward to getting some fresh air outside of this room, and re-gaining access to my wine. HAPPY FRIDAY! Here’s what I’m grateful for right now…

My packing skills, which remind me there is ALWAYS (lots) of room for improvement in one’s life.

Getting a facial from Suzie Heathcote, who is currently offering a June deal for a deluxe facial with microdermabrasion for $80. (It’s an hour long, includes a massage and high frequency zapping.) HEAVEN. Email her at [email protected] or call her at 424-610-7196 to get on this magic if you live in L.A.
