Last week, I had one of the happiest days of my life trying on wedding gowns at Oscar de la Renta. I’ve pored his designs for years, always so sophisticated, elegant, regal and timeless. I’ll never forget the episode of Sex and the City, where Mikhail Baryshinikov’s character gives Carrie an Oscar de la Renta gown as a gift. Last week was bridal market for the Fall 2015 lines, and it did not disappoint. The big trends were barely-there straps, crop tops and cut ups (perhaps inspired by Kim Kardashian?), skirts with major slits, skirts that look like wedding cakes, illusion detailing, dramatic backs (completely bare or bedazzled) and long sleeves.View Article
