Tony and I spent the long weekend luxuriating in Tahoe, got home last night and hit the ground running this morning with the massive To Do list that comes along with burying your head under a pile of wine/family time and ignoring real life responsibilities for almost a week. Our home renovation has been a lot like playing a game of Whack-a-Mole - as soon as we tackle one issue, another one pops up (have I said that already? Probably. I can't remember what I had for lunch today.) I'm going to try to get back to posting as many weekdays as possible, but thanks for hanging in if I'm a total flake and it continues to be a little sporadic up here on Heels in the Hills. In the meantime, here are some of the these I've been trolling online... HAPPY HUMP DAY! (It is Wednesday, right??)View Article
Heels in the Hills' resident mommy blogger Barbara King is back for her weekly post on motherhood in Los Angeles... And she continues to straight up kill the Pinterest game. If you love Amy Schumer and her new book "The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo" as much as I do, you will LOVE Jessi Klein's "You'll Grow Out Of It." Probably because Jessi is the head writer for Inside Amy Schumer. Also, because she's written for "Saturday Night Live," "Transparent," "Kroll Show" and a million other super funny things. It's what I'm reading this month and I am INTO IT...View Article
Last night, Tony and I saw Guns N' Roses play at Dodger Stadium (shout out to my mom and dad for hooking us up with tickets. THANKS MOM AND DAD!) And now, we're heading out for an impromptu last minute trip to Vegas - one of our best friends is a badass sports publicist, and a boxer she reps is fighting this weekend. We're going as her entourage. I plan on alternating between the spa and the buffet and I'm so excited. HAPPY FRIDAY! Here's what I'm grateful for this week...View Article
I am always late. My bridesmaids included this fact in the poem they wrote and read at our engagement party, and I think both of my Maids of Honor mentioned it in their speeches at our wedding. I should probably take a lesson from this blog, BUT I'M RUNNING LATE TO GO TO A CONCERT SO I HAVE TO GO BYE! Here's Heels in the Hills' resident mommy blogger Barbara King on how to never be late again...View Article
