Guys, I am loving Vancouver. Tony and I get to live in a hotel for a few weeks, giving me full license to pretend I'm an adult Eloise and do all of my work in a bathrobe. Food trucks are parked daily within walking distance. And there is a beautiful run nearby that goes along the waterfront; I've timed my jogs to coincide with the daily walk of a golden retriever I'm currently stalking (we didn't get to bring our 3 mutts and I miss them something awful.) Being holed up here without any friends is giving me a lot of time to get work done; I'm really excited about my post-wedding plans for the blog, and am also working on a web series my friend Kim and I are planning to star in together. Because nothing says cliche quite like being an L.A.-based blogger-writer-actress who's pitching a web series! When I'm not anxiously chasing down my dreams, here is the clickbait that's distracted me during my stay so far in Canada...View Article

There are so many things I want to write about in these last few weeks leading up to our wedding - my bachelorette party, Tony's bachelor party, sharing our Save the Dates, how the guest list has been the most difficult part of planning, our honeymoon, how I've been feverishly sweating it out the elliptical from midnight to 1am - but, if you didn't get it from that last one, the days are disappearing like the sands through that hourglass on Days of Our Lives. And today, I prioritized my final dress fitting (!!!!!!!!!) and buying fake hair (which Tony and I affectionately refer to as our "wedding pet." It's actually real hair from a stranger in India, and I will be wearing it on my head while we promise to love each other forever). I'm going to try to keep posting every weekday, but things might be a bit sporadic leading up to August 1. Thanks for bearing with me, and for reading and supporting the blog, it means so much to me! In the meantime, here is some clickbait to get you through the weekend. I hope you have the happiest Friday! I sure did... Not only did the dress fit, but the kind people at Vera Wang told me to eat a burger. THOSE LATE NIGHTS ON THE ELLIPTICAL WERE ALL WORTH IT. And now, I'm going to do just that. Have the best weekend!View Article
We are getting married exactly ONE MONTH FROM TODAY. Today I had my wedding beauty trial AND my second dress fitting AND went to Tony's tuxedo fitting... My life has officially been taken over by the wedding. When I'm not scouring the internet for gold house numbers for a little DIY project I (Tony) will be attacking or pondering Xanax, here are a few articles I've been distracting myself with as of late. HAPPY HUMP DAY!View Article
I am feeling infinitely better after sleeping for 16 hours last night, which was interrupted by only one melodramatic episode in which I got up to go to the bathroom and passed out on my way there. Which scared the crap out of Tony and the dogs. (I'd like to say I fainted glamorously like an Old Hollywood starlet, but I hit the floor like a dead bear.) I won't go into the nitty gritty details because it's almost dinnertime and I'm a lady, but Tony changed me out of my sweat-soaked clothes and carried me back to bed, Whitney Houston in "The Bodyguard"-style. It's always been my fantasy to be carried that way... I just wish it had been under circumstances where I looked beautiful, maybe with flowing hair in a wedding gown, not crying while asking if I pooped myself (for the record, I did not!), and if he still wanted to marry me. He said yes. That, my friends, is true romance. I spent the majority of the day in bed trolling the internet, so here are a few of the links that kept me busy...View Article
Need a distraction from work? How about you stare at this picture of a Shetland pony rocking Converse for a few minutes/hours? (That's what I've been doing since I snapped this shot yesterday.) My friend Eileen, her sweet sweet baby Goldie and I popped by the Paramount lot yesterday to say hi to Tony while he was working. He had the brilliant idea to "borrow" a golf cart (*sidenote to all production assistants on the Paramount lot: Tony is sorry if that was your golf cart), and took us on a tour of the lot. Running into this fella was the highlight of our joyride. Pretty sure the flower girls should ride him down the aisle at our wedding, but I forgot to ask for a business card or if they travel to Tahoe. If you still need work distractions, may I suggest this clickbait...View Article
