I am addicted to wedding announcements. This probably doesn't come as a surprise, given my feverish obsession with all things WEDDING. But even as a kid, I would flip to the back of my mom's Town & Country magazines to pore over the beautiful pictures of society ladies' weddings, and steal The New York Times my dad would bring home on weekends to read the wedding announcements. Tony and I flew to Vancouver yesterday for a movie he'll be shooting over the next few weeks. I came with him to keep this honeymoon going! And also because we're newlyweds and I want to be together in the beginning of this exciting new chapter of our lives. And also because the food here is great. It's up to you to decide which the driving reason was. (If you know me, you will vote food.) We spent most of the day in a blind rage, as United Airlines managed to screw up essentially every single aspect of our travel plans. After being delayed an hour and then sitting on the tarmac for almost another hour because they were 500 lbs overweight and had to take all the suitcases off to figure out which were incorrectly loaded on (if you recently lost a suitcase, it was probably on our plane), missing our connection, and then having to go through security twice because they said they booked us on a new flight in a new terminal that they, in fact, did NOT book us on... I am really grateful I remembered to pack/wear all of these items. Here are my airplane travel essentials!View Article

I've decided it's Honeymoon Week here on Heels in the Hills, mostly because all I can think about is our happy time in Bora Bora and I want to continue living in the past for just a few more days. Tony and I got back from our honeymoon late Saturday night. It was the best trip of our lives. We went to Tahiti and stayed at The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, where we were treated like royalty. (*They know how to treat royalty, too. Jen Aniston & co. may have been staying at the Four Seasons next door while we were there, but the Princess of Qatar was staying at The St. Regis with us.) Coming off of one year, seven months and two days of wedding planning that ramped up to a feverish, dizzying speed of overwhelming joy and emotion for those last few weeks, Tony and I were exhausted. I think everyone is after a wedding. But we were so lucky that we got to take off for some R&R while my parents were still cleaning up the catering staff's cigarette butts off the beach in Tahoe (thanks again, Mom). WE'RE MARRIED!!!!!!!!! I still can't believe it. Tony and I drove back to Los Angeles from Lake Tahoe last night, and both of us kept saying that it feels like we're playing house. We giggle every time we say "husband" or "wife." We leave for our honeymoon tonight and there is just too much to say and too many emotions to process for me to really write about the wedding yet... Plus, I still have to do laundry, pack and see if I can get my husband (HUSBAND!) to help me laser my bikini line (TMI!) So, I'm going to rip myself off and share what I wrote on my personal Facebook page yesterday, along with all of my favorite pictures from the days leading up to and following the wedding! Hola Dudes and Dudettes, Annie and I just got back from my first tuxedo fitting and I need to cut some weight for the wedding ASAP, like Foxcatcher style! I'm taking over HITH for the day because Annie had to get laser beams shot into her face or eyes or something, but I'm totally in love with her face and everything about her, so that's tight.
